Welcome from Mayor Van Dusen
Dear New Resident:
On behalf of the Village, I am happy to welcome you to Skokie! We are proud of our community and our citizens, who take an active part in keeping Skokie a vital and progressive place to live. Our Village government strives to be responsive to its residents while providing an extensive and efficient range of services. Skokie residents also enjoy one of Illinois' finest Libraries, an excellent Park District, top-quality schools, the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, accredited Police, Fire and Public Works Departments, as well as a fully-certified Health Department.
